Great idea, not possible IMO

There should not be such a problem: the fact that you have a hom fow, uw, SF statue means that you did those quests, aka, you will obtain + points in the sub-quest title track also for the old quests you made. Just as like as they did with Elite Skills title tracks, if you had capped already (which is mostly like) some elites, those ones would be recorded. About the quests that are mande just for some classes, there could be just a leeway (like eotn exploration) to let everyone get the title anyway. Furthermor I think that all character can play the same number of quests, but some are replaced with some different ones and so on. I really think that it should not be that hard to do....it would be very funny imo.

Also, what about the Titan Quests? Would be nice if there was something for doing those. Or has that been added when I wasn't looking?

The problem, IMHO, with questing in Prophecies is the lack of substantial rewards. NF and Factions have the reward of leveling up quite fast - it was a middle between Proph (slow-as-hell leveling) and Factions (too fast, can't grasp your character's gameplay). If you're not into the lore, that is. I never was into it, compared to other games where I play for the lore.
And you have people who actually DO enjoy questing, or do it for the sake of completion. Either implement a way to get quests logged even if you've done them, or make them available again.

As far as the quest title goes, they'd have to fine-tune it for each profession- because some quests are profession-specific.
|
very simple fix for this, all profession-specific quests do not count twords this title

Since you can H/H tombs I think Anet does not consider it a Elite zone. Even if you could H/H the cantha and NF elite areas they would still be considerbly harder then Tombs

I think the quest title is a great idea. Dunno how it'd work with the game mechanics, but it'd be fun. I have done that with the campaigns, made sure EVERY blinky was accepted and it's fun as hell. I hadda use wiki in nf because some quests don't open until certain missions/quests are completed, resulting in much backtracking to older outposts and unused npcs. A "checklist" of all quests was definately necessary lol.

Not that those henchies are any good though, they suck big time but meh.
I think a statue for the tombs is a great idea, i wouldnt call the tombs an elite area though, its either very simple or rough hard depending on how good your team is, and hero hench way is utterly useless.

Now you saying that tombs isn't hard because you can hero/hench it and that's why it doesn't deserve a statue. What about Sorrow Furnace? Hero/Henched that few weeks ago to get the statue in few hours....

Tombs is easy as hell.. but then again so is FoW so.. yeah it deserves a monument. It would also encourage non-BP groups to complete tombs

/signed for statue for Tombs
/signed for subquest title track
I have made it a point on my 2 mainly played characters to complete every quest I come across.
As for the difficulty of Tombs, if it wasnt for BP (and Sorrows the same) then this would remain a pretty difficult run through it. Even with BP if you have an idiot group, you can easily fail as well as we have all run into over the years.

Its a great idea - the problem would be providing that "checklist" somehow in the game itself. Just telling me "you've completed 139 of 140 quests"... without any clue of which one is left!!! blargh!

Okay.... so explain to me again why getting a currently worthless little statue for completing something you can already do "increases the lifespan of the game." It doesn't add new content. It doesn't do anything of the sort. It just increases the rewards for doing it.
If you are going to make a suggestion, at least have the justification you use for it make sense. This has nothing to do with "increasing the game's lifespan." You can do these quests now if you want to. No one is stoping you.

I just love how you read half of my post. The "increase lifespawn" sentence was directed to sub-quest title track.
Kthxcya.

If you run a standard group there, it's much more challenging than the GW:EN dungeons (Slaver's excepted).

A variant of Sab's 3 necro build works pretty swimmingly for Tombs, actually. It's harder than most dungeons in EotN, but easier IMO than Slaver's (especially Forgewight), Shards of Orr, and Catacombs of Kathandrax.
